Day 59 - Sea Day

Date:  March 8, 2007

Location:  At Sea

Next Port:  Hong Kong, China, March 9-11

Report:  We enjoyed a lazy sea day with two good lectures regarding China, somereading and partially catching up on our journal and photos. It was a gray day, but Capt. Dag was pleased that he finally had the wind and currents at his back. Though the sea swells were pretty high, he commented that the Voyager was riding them “like a swan.”

We crashed the formal “Farewell Reception” in the theater to enjoy music and conversation with Judy and Kirk before enjoying dinner with them at Compass Rose. Afterwards, we enjoyed the classical music production by the singer and dancers. Though we had seen it about two months ago, it seemed fresh for us. Then the four of us spent a little time in the Voyager Lounger listening to passenger karaoke (been there, done that…don’t think we’ll do it again).
