Date: March 12, 2007
Location: At Sea
Next Port: Chan May (Hue), Vietnam, March 13
Report: Another enjoyable sea day. Caught up with our Hong Kong journal reports and photos, attended regional lectures, met Beverly and Jim (new corridor neighbors at thelatest Block Party), had dinner with Joan and David, and enjoyed a dynamite performance by the new vocalist – Elaine Delmar.
Singapore marked the beginning of the Fourth Segment of this World Cruise. Therefore, we left Singapore with about 120 new guests. But some 140 folks completed their voyage and disembarked. That’s been the most difficult part of our trip…saying good-bye to new friends every 2-3 weeks. In fact, sometimes we all get so busy that we don’t even get the opportunity to say good-bye.
For example, it was only during this sea day when we didn’t see them around that we remembered that Mary and Vic disembarked yesterday. So to them – and all the others to whom we forgot to say good-bye (and who check in on this on-line journal) -- we wish you safe travels home and thank you for enriching our lives and adding to our travel experiences.
